OK here is how you make a basic talk to person with one line

#org $script
lock
faceplayer
message $talk
$talk 1 = Hi I'm cool.
boxset 6
release
end

but if you want longer you will have to put \n \p or \l Here is what they do

\n drops to next line
\l will goto the next line but not auto (you must put \n after \l I will show you)
\p Empties the box and starts a new one

So you can be more like this



#org $script
lock
faceplayer
message $talk
$talk 1 = Hello, \lI am so cool \nAre you? \pI knew you are!
boxset 6
release
end

I will now go over what everything means
#org and $script are general things you almost always start new scipts with them
lock and faceplayer makes it so you and whoever you are talking to not able to move and look at each other
message $talk is always there for a message the next line must have exactly $whatever you put here
$talk 1 = just the message
boxset 6 just tells the game to put this in a text box
release and end makes it so you can move again.
