So, I started the game off with Charmander, and I spammed scratch until my rival fainted, this was going to be the easiest part of my run. ¬.¬
I walked to Viridian, running from Pokemon, got the parcel went back to Pallet and gave it to Oak. All normal there.
I got my Pokeballs from Oak's aid and caught a Pidgey and a Rattata, these and my Charmander will be my HM slaves that I'll only draw out of the box when I need them.
I walked into Viridian forest with my Pidgey and caught my first Pokemon, a Caterpie called Happy. Training Happy to level 9, I went in search of a Weedle. I caught one and named him Robotnik.
Training Robotnik to level 7, I proceeded to battle trainers.
